West Bengal Police Constable Prelims Result 2021

A few months earlier the West Bengal Police Recruitment authority has issued a vacancy notification for 8419 Constable (Male) Posts. Online Application Form dates are 5th February to 5th March 2019. Candidates have to qualify prelims test, Physical Test (PST/PMT), Main Exam, Interview, Document Verification, and Medical Test to get constable jobs. Selection Procedure

1. Preliminary Written Test:– 100 Marks
2. Physical Measurement Test (PMT):-The height and weight of the candidates as given under 3(e) will be measured by the Electronic Machines of those who qualify in the Preliminary Written Test.

3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET):  Candidates who pass in the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) will be eligible for PET.  Candidates will have to complete 1600 meter race in a maximum of 06 minutes 30 seconds.

   Note- PMT & PER are qualifying in nature. Only for once chance given these processes.

4. Final Written Examination: Full Marks (85 Marks):- The Final Written Examination will have 85 Multiple Choice Question (Four choices) in Objective Type. Questions (MCQs) carrying equal marks each. The duration of the examination will be 1 (One) hour. The question paper will be set in two languages (Bengali & Nepali) except questions on the English language. Question of the Final Written Examination shall be from the following subjects:- General Awareness and General Knowledge, English, Elementary Mathematics (Madhyamik Standard), Reasoning and Logical Analysis and (NOTE: 1/4 negative marking)

6. Verification of Character Antecedents
7. Medical Examination
