CBSE Class 12 Exam Postponed 2020 Today Updates
In view of the danger of coronavirus, the parents of some students have that the remaining 10th and 12th class papers of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) should not be taken. Parents believe that giving exams can pose a danger to children. The petition filed on behalf of the parents has demanded that the decision taken by CBSE to conduct the remaining board exam of 10th and 12th class should be canceled. After the petition of the parents, the Supreme Court sought a response from the CBSE Board. The court had asked the board to give its answer to the situation. CBSE also said that it will give its guidelines in view of the situation.

Supreme Court Hearing on CBSE Exams 2020
Today the Ministry of Human Resources and the CBSE Board have put their side in the Supreme Court. CBSE and the ministry have told the court that the discussion on cancellation of the paper is in advanced stage and a final decision will be taken by Thursday. After this argument, the Supreme Court has deferred hearing of the case till Thursday. Now the case will be heard on Thursday, 25 June at 2 pm.

The Solicitor General informed the Supreme Court that the Central Government will probably give its decision on conducting the remaining 10th and 12th class examinations by Thursday. The Center and CBSE said today, “The decision-making process is at the advanced stage. A final decision will be taken by Thursday.

Senior advocate Jaideep Gupta, appearing for ICSE, said that he is awaiting order in the CBSE board examinations case, as the Bombay High Court has adjourned its hearing in the apex court hearing today. The court questioned Mr. Gupta on whether ICSE would accept the decision that would be taken by the Central Government or CBSE. Mr. Gupta replied in the affirmative.
In case the pending board exams are cancelled, the students will be marked on the basis of their pre-board exams or internal exams conducted by the schools.
