GitHub Blocked Bulli App User
Union IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has said in a tweet that GitHub has confirmed the blocking of the Bulli BAI user. CERT and police officials are taking further action. Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) is the nodal agency dealing with cyber security threats. After photos of at least 100 Muslim women were uploaded for auction on Bulli Bai app, the IT Minister said that the app has been blocked by the GitHub hosting platform. CERT and police officials are taking further action. Uploading pictures of Muslim women on the ‘Bulli Bai’ app was similar to uploading the same Sulli deals. Bulli Bui App worked like Same Sully Deals. Once the Bulli Bai app opened, the face of a Muslim woman was displayed as Bulli Bai.
Like ‘Bully Bye’, the ‘Sully Deals’ app was also hosted by GitHub. Last year Delhi and Uttar Pradesh Police had registered two FIRs against Sulli Deal, but till now no action has been taken against the culprits.
