The Masters programme in Business Administration was launched in 2005. It has earned recognition and some funding from the All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi. The maiden batch of 2005-07 did the Department proud with 100% placement, many in first rate organizations, such as ICICI Bank, Wipro, Metlife, etc. This has been possible on account of the high quality training the Department imparts. Young, dynamic and dedicated resident faculty and the high profile experienced guest faculty drawn from different parts of the country prepare students for facing and successfully overcoming the challenges of corporate world. They are exposed to the opportunities available to genuinely skilled, dedicated and diligent university pass outs.

The Department has sophisticated Computer lab. and rich library stacked with latest books and good number of journals and periodicals.

Long working schedule, guest lectures, presentations by scholars and the faculty, besides formal class work help in making students competitive, incisive and enlightened. The full fledged Coaching-cum-Placement Cell helps students in personality development.

Objectives of the programme: Enriching students with strong knowledge about the subject and developments in the global economy.

Equipping students with conceptual, technical, and interpersonal (human) skills. Developing students' capability to apply knowledge and skills in problem solving and decision making.

Eligibility for Admission

Bachelors' degree of 10+2+3 pattern in any discipline or any other degree recognized equivalent thereto from any recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate (40% for candidates belonging to the Scheduled caste and Scheduled tribe categories).

Having passed final examination from the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Cost and Works Accountants or Company Secretaries.

A.M.I.E. (Engineering) with at least 50% marks in aggregate 40% for Scheduled caste/Scheduled tribe categories.

Candidates appearing in the final year examination of the qualifying degree or those, whose result of the same is awaited, can also apply provisionally for appearing in the entrance test.
